Enroute designed and implemented a blended learning programme on the Sustainable Development Goals for young activists and university students across Bangladesh, supported by the Edward M. Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts. The initiative combined online learning with face-to-face outreach to make SDG education accessible, flexible, and action-oriented — connecting the global goals to Bangladesh’s national development context and equipping participants to promote sustainable development within their institutions and communities.
A contextualized online SDG course was developed and hosted on Enroute’s Sudoksho learning platform, comprising video lessons, reading materials, interactive exercises, quizzes, and supplementary resources. Course development covered content research, learning structure design, script writing, graphics, multimedia production, and video recording, editing, and post-production. Technical testing and quality assurance were conducted prior to launch to ensure full platform functionality.
A formal launch ceremony at the EMK Center introduced the programme to stakeholders and participants. Promotional outreach ran through university networks, websites, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital channels to attract diverse youth participation. University roadshows and offline SDG education sessions complemented online delivery, combining awareness activities, course demonstrations, and student registration support. Approximately 200 young activists from universities across Bangladesh completed online training, with technical guidance and online mentoring provided throughout the learning period. Successful participants were selected as SDG Champions based on completion and assessment criteria, and a certificate-awarding ceremony at the EMK Center formally recognized programme graduates.
